1. Do I need a license to fish and if so where do I get one and how much do they cost?
Yes you do need a license unless you are at least 90 years of age or under 16 years of age, or you reside in a licensed nursing home. You may purchase a license at Cabin Fever in Victoria or you may get an instant license on-line with the Minnesota DNR or by phone by calling 888-665-4236. Fishing license start at $8.50.

2. How do I find out if the trip is cancelled due to rain, cold temperatures or high wind?
You may call The Lodge at 952-227-7786 after 8:30 A.M. the day of trip. We encourage you to call as close to trip time as possible for the most current information. Once you arrive at Lake Minnetonka the sole decision maker on cancellations will be the Captain.

One suggestion is that as many of you as possible car pool from The Lodge. We are approximately 20 minutes from Howard's Point. You may choose to drive yourself. There is limited parking at the marina. Maps are available at The Lodge or click here.
